STAFF FUND

Dear All,

I would like to draw your attention to the Staff Fund.
The staff fund is open and runs until the year end. Please could I urge all members to contribute to this fund as soon as possible.
Our staff are vital to the smooth running of the Club, and they rely heavily on the proceeds of this fund given the Club operates a no tipping policy. I would like to think that every full member feels that they have been looked after by our dedicated staff and that a donation is therefore appropriate, if not essential.

I was rather shocked to find a record of the staff fund in amongst some papers that dated back to 2010. We raised almost as much then as we did last year in 2023 from the same total number of donors. Many people donated less last year than they did in 2010. Compound maths would imply we should be raising almost 30% more than we are currently achieving.
